ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn and practice handstand in a supportive and progressive environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your handstand technique, this class will help you achieve your goals.
 

What Students Can Expect: 

  • Suitable for all levels: Miguel will tailor the class to your individual abilities, ensuring a safe and effective workout for everyone.​

  • Small group setting: With a small class set up, you'll receive personalized attention and feedback from the teacher.

  • We'll get your body primed for handstand work with dynamic stretches and exercises focusing on shoulder strength and full-body mobility.

Warm-up

(10 minutes)

  • A strong core is essential for handstand stability. This intensive core workout will build the strength and control you need to hold a solid handstand.

Core Training

(5-8 minutes)

Handstand Technique

(60-70 minutes)

  • Learn proper handstand form, practice drills to improve balance and control, and work towards achieving your handstand goals. We'll progress at a pace that's comfortable for you, with plenty of modifications offered along the way.

MIGUEL SANT'ANA

 

Miguel is a native Brazilian and has lived and worked in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. He is a self-taught professional hand balancer and Coach for more than a decade.  He has run courses across the globe including retreats, workshops and residencies in studios and clubs. His following crosses all boundaries and walks of life. His method is followed by beginners to high-level athletes. 

Miguel continues living his passion in the science and art of handbalance.  His mission as a teacher is to inspire his students to develop a clear understanding and commitment to excel in their handbalance practice.
